Bashir Ahmed MD, a graduate of honorable
university , Universidad Eugino De Hostos, having a B.S in
pharmacy from Universiy of Punjab in Lahore Pakistan recieved
training in preliminiray surgery at Albert Einstien Collge of
Medicine and comprhensive training in family Medicine at Stony
Brook Univesity Hospital. He is a recipient of award from C.D.C
the American Academy of Family Medicine and the resident of the
month award for the month of May 2004.
His scholarly activities include aContinuous Quuality Improvement
presentation,S.T.D screening in 2006, Learning Disablities in
Children , core Conference at postpartum Depression , diagnosis
of Acute Bacterial Sinusitis , ABC's of Diabetic Management ,
Interpretations of E.K.G and imaging studies, diagnosis and
management of upper G.I bleed and falls in elderly.
Bashi Ahmed MD is currently working as an attending physician at
South side Hospital and has opened a private practice in Selden,
New York.Dr.Ahmed's office is equiped with completely electronic
medical record system.
